My son requested that we eat hard shell tacos for dinner. When we eat tacos, we normally make them with soft flour tortillas. I've seen this idea before, and I must say it is brilliant! When you take a bite, instead of the hard shell breaking and falling apart, (the hard shell still breaks into pieces, BUT) the tortilla holds it all together.
Soft tortilla: spread refried beans, taco sauce and shredded cheese. Stick it to the outer shell of the hard taco shell.
Taco shell filling: Taco meat, lettuce, cilantro, avocado, tomato and sour cream
Fast and Yummy!
